Tracy lived in pain for nine years.  She was finally diagnosed with RSD, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, in March 2007.  Under the treatment of Dr. Robert Schwartzman at Drexel University and Dr. Randy Rosenberg, she underwent awake lidocane and ketamine infusions.  Both procedures provided only temporarily relief, so in October-November 2007, Tracy spent five weeks in Germany to undergo an experimental ketamine coma, which Dr. Schwartzman believed would significantly improve her quality of life if not provide a cure.  He was right, and today Tracy has her life back.  We are all so thankful for her truly miraculous recovery, and can think of no better way to express our gratitude than to raise funds for research to find an easier, safer cure that will be able to be used in the United States.
